Ah, shopping! Those moments when you think: "Why not? I worked hard all month and I definitely deserve this!” and then you end up with a mountain of things that you don't even know why you bought them. In the end, the bank account looks down on you, but you console yourself with the temporary happiness that a rash purchase gave you.
 
Why do we do this? Simple! The psychology of spending plays with our minds. Seeking quick gratification is one of the main culprits. When we buy something new, our brain produces dopamine - the substance that makes us feel happy and satisfied. This pushes us to buy even more, not thinking about the real needs we may have.

Another reason is marketing. All of us, at one point or another, have been lured by an ad that has affected our emotions. And who can resist the catchy phrases "today only" or "this is the offer you can't miss"? These are phrases that stimulate the fear of missing out on something important, so we end up buying things we'll probably never even use.
 
Another factor is the "impact of low prices." When we see a product at a bargain price, sometimes we buy it just because it seems like a great opportunity to save money. In fact, this can sometimes be just an unnecessary expense, which does not come into our work at all.
 
Ultimately, it's all about awareness and impulse control. Whenever you feel like buying something, stop and ask yourself, "Do I really need this?" If the answer is "no", then leave it where it is.
 
This doesn't mean giving up the little joys in life or the pleasure of rewarding yourself, but the next time you find yourself in front of that product that seems so tempting, stop and ask yourself: "Do I really need it?" ?
