Even the most professional organizers swear that they are not perfect! But, it seems that they have a few trends that they implement every day to simply be more productive. Maeve Richmond is the founder of the popular "Maeve" method of organization, and she says there are a few things you can do every day to be calmer, more in control, and more productive in your life.

Here are the eight most important:

#1 Start the day with a check

Instead of reaching for your phone to check email or start your to-do list, give yourself a few minutes of quiet time, using that time to check in on your physical, mental and emotional well-being.

#2 Make your bed

This simple task can help you start your day more productively. This step should become a daily ritual, because not only does it make your room look neater and more organized, but you also feel more fulfilled when you know that you have done a good job at home.

#3 Review the to-do list

Try giving yourself a few minutes in the morning before thinking about responsibilities, as looking at your to-do list can help you prioritize things and organize your day better.

#4 Do some of the important work at dinner

In other words, "put your back" on housework in the evening, such as vacuuming, washing the dishes, organizing the work bag, getting ready the clothes you will wear the next day. Only in this way can you relieve yourself of the mental and physical load of the next day.

#5 Leave notes

A sticker on the mirror, behind the door, on the dining table, all these techniques are valuable especially for people who forget quickly.

#6 Meditate, even for a few minutes

Studies have shown that meditation can help relieve stress and anxiety and make you more focused. No need for yoga classes or mantras, just lie down and think to yourself for a few minutes.

#7 Do something that makes you happy

"Life is too short to have a bored breakfast!" says Rashelle Isip, professional organizer. You can listen to a favorite song, watch a funny video or just tell yourself that you are ready to have a nice day.

If you spend a lot of energy and time with finding the right outfits and combinations for the next day, then you can get them ready by dinner and you will just be more relieved the next morning.
