
Albania/ Residents protest for the new road

On the Thumanë-Kashar road, the residents of the area rose in protest, which escalated and ended in a physical clash with the police. Police forces have tried to remove the residents from the street, using tear gas.
The police managed to repel the protesters, allowing traffic on the highway. The reason for the protest of the residents of Fushë-Kruja and Kruja is that the new road that is planned to be built is not accessible to them. They require access to homes and businesses.
Qatar/ The cease-fire talks in Gaza end

Negotiations were closed after 2 days. In a joint statement, spokespersons of the US, Qatar and Egypt have expressed that the talks have been fruitful and it is expected that next week, the agreement to stop the fighting will be signed in Cairo.
The spokesmen showed Hamas and Israel a proposal, hoping to continue working on the details and to implement a cease-fire agreement in the coming days. This is the seventh round of talks and proposals for a possible ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, where more than 41,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 91,000 injured so far.
Thailand/ The daughter of the former prime minister is elected prime minister

Thailand's parliament has decided that Paetongtarn Shinawatra will be the country's new prime minister, making her the country's youngest prime minister and the second woman to hold the position after her aunt, Yingluck. Paetongtarn is the daughter of Thaksin, the former billionaire leader of Thailand.
She will face challenges such as recovering the economy, as well as avoiding coups and judicial interventions, which have so far brought down 4 previous administrations, all led by her family members. The girl received 319 votes in favor and 145 against, thus becoming the fourth member of the family to be elected as prime minister in the last 2 decades.
China/ A new vaccine, which targets tumors, gets the green light

A new mRNA vaccine designed to target Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) tumors has been approved in China. The vaccine was approved by the pharmaceutical regulatory authority and previously, by the US Food and Drug Administration.
The vaccine was developed by "WestGene Biopharma" and successfully completed texts on nasopharyngeal carcinoma and lymphoma, which are known as cancers associated with EBV, a carcinogen that causes +10 types of cancer, including stomach cancer.
Further trials will be conducted for the vaccine to discover more about its potential in the development of tumor immunotherapy.
