The new trailer for the movie starring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix has been released. "Joker: Folie à Deux" brings the love of Harley Quinn (Lady Gaga) and Joker (Joaquin Phoenix) in an unparalleled romance, in which they explore their feelings in relation to the relationship and the world.
In the new trailer, Harley tells the Joker: "When I first saw the Joker - when I saw you - for the first time in my life, I didn't feel so alone." They are shown dancing and singing as Harley supports the Joker in his episodes of violence, much to his amusement. "You can do whatever you want…you're the Joker," she tells him.
We remind you that the new film is a musical, unlike "Joker 1". The first film, directed by Todd Phillips (who also directed "Joker: Folie à Deux"), was nominated for 11 Oscars. For this role, Joaquin Phoenix received the award for Best Actor.
The film tells about the evolution of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) from a man with mental problems to a man who starts killing people. Critics at the time worried that the fable would encourage viewers to follow in the protagonist's footsteps.
Joaquin and the film's director, Todd Phillips, advised the public to watch the film and form their own opinion, without being influenced by the mindset of the masses. At a promotional event, Phillips said: “The film is about the lack of love, the trauma of childhood, the lack of compassion in the world. I think people will get the message. For me, art is sometimes complicated and that's a good thing."
Joaquin also gave similar statements. To the Associated Press, he said: “If you don't know the difference between good and bad, you can interpret whatever you want however you want. I just hope people see it and realize it's a movie."
