This social network is full of ways to evaluate your relationship with your partner: there is the orange peel theory, bending tests and even compatibility with the moment of moonrise. However, recently, something called the "strawberry question" is going viral for many reasons.
So what exactly is the strawberry question?
Through texting, people are asking their partners this question: "If you were passing by a strawberry field, would you pick a strawberry and eat it if you were really hungry?" Depending on their partner's answer, they will follow up with more questions, such as "How much are you going to eat?" and "What if there was a fence?"
In these questions, "eating strawberries" is interpreted as a metaphor for temptation from one's partner and crossing the fence as an approach to overcome obstacles or boundaries to obtain strawberries.
While there isn't enough evidence to show that the answers to these questions are an indicator of possible breakup or lifelong love between couples, one thing is for sure: people on Tik Tok are having a lot of fun with the idea!
