Timo Flloko, a friend of the late writer Ismail Kadare, has dedicated a late poem to the colossus of literature, where he confessed his feelings in an empty morning, after the deep loss experienced by the actor and poet.
The poem:
Timo Flloko - KADARE (Requiem)
I drank coffee and poisons without you, this morning,
Pain, warts, who would I share it with,
"Chateau Juvenilja" looks like me,
More desert than the Sahara...
Escape the silence like a giant, thinking
(Did you make a secret pact with the escape?!)
Leave empty behind you, in thousands of hearts,
Endless, apocalyptic emptiness...
(Why do geniuses come and flee this world..?!)
Your escape is a heavenly journey,
I can't even imagine death!
I can't even imagine Morti..
A bird came and fanned me
He stopped the flight, sat down in your place,
(Being the shadow of Nobel, that wanderer,
With regret in him, such a rare opportunity,
He left but arrived late, from the winds blowing,
he became a raven out of boredom, so that found alive...)
I was mentioned at the end, lost in that void,
I cast my eyes to the sky, beyond, to the unknown,
With the infinity it merged, there eternal,
Your wayward spirit that transcends time.
