Edi Rama explains the "presence" of Mother Teresa in the tributes to Ismail Kadare

Today, Albania and Kosovo said their last farewell to the colossus of Albanian literature, Ismail Kadare. In the tributes of honor, organized by the Albanian government, it was noticed that the "shadow" of Mother Teresa stood over the coffin of the late writer.

People, rightly, wondered why the saint was present at this ceremony dedicated to the great writer, and Prime Minister Edi Rama showed us the curiosity, clarifying that it was a coincidence.

"This shadow of Mother Teresa on Ismail's body was not brought by anyone, nor who prepared this ceremony, it was here, it had come before. The announcement that the hall was occupied and Mother Teresa could not move came to me with the picture being mounted for a performance at dinner tonight. Further, in his speech, Edi Rama said:

But I have to thank you for this unwritten novella and the answer that I couldn't take it seriously when you said "I don't write anymore", I said "I told you everything". Today I am completely convinced that Ismail Kadare really said everything he had to say to rest in a final abode that will be his alone. Not with the martyrs because he was neither a martyr nor had the desire to be a martyr in any of his cells. Not with the Frashëri brothers, because they don't owe him either to make room for them in their graves, and Ismail didn't even owe us to stop him from being alone because he can't stop it by looking at us with his eyes and telling us his 'no'. Not even in front of "Rogner".

He added:

"Ismail Kadare lived as a witness to a word that received all the praise of the world and all the possible scorn and insults of the country that gave birth to it. It remained in the archives of the Nobel minutes, the only candidate for whom there is a file of anonymous letters. He he came, wrote and left. We have only one obligation, to respect his escape by giving him a final home where he will not feel threatened by the unsolicited love he was afraid of, nor by the never-desired neighborliness he had. nor from the gatherings, honors and speeches that the llhatari had.
