You probably remember the ombre makeup or hair (combination of two shades, one darker and one lighter) that caught quite a few girls in recent months. It seems that this trend has already moved to eyebrows and for girls who want something natural and special this kind of trend is a find.
This trend for eyebrows may have come as inspiration from make-up or hair, but make-up artist Shervonne Kitto says it's a technique that most likely girls will like a lot.
-What are ombre eyebrows?
These types of eyebrows are a cosmetic tattoo that creates a slight shadow in the eyebrow area.
"The term 'ombre' emphasizes the effect where the brows fade from dark to light," she explains. This technique fills in thin, patchy brows.
- The process of their realization
Like microblading (eyebrow tattooing), making ombre eyebrows is done by professionals in beauty salons. The process starts with cleaning them, then measuring and sketching the right shape to maintain symmetry between the center and the end of the eyebrows. The ombre effect creates a shade effect slightly lighter than the natural color of the eyebrows.
-Micro shadow effect
According to Kitto, ombre brows are actually a form of microshading. The difference between microblading and the effect is precisely the fact that the technique seen through the apparatus creates strokes on the hairs of the eyebrows, while ombre gives a combination of shades.
-How long do ombre eyebrows last?
They can last from one to three years. Because the pigment is deposited in the upper layers of the skin, it can fade over time. Ombre brows fade faster on oilier skin compared to drier skin.
-Side effects
These effects occur during the healing phase. The healing phase lasts from ten to 25 days after permanent treatment. During this time, you may experience darkening of the area, itching, dry skin, etc.
-How to make these eyebrows at home
All you need is an eyebrow pencil and a brush and you can fill in the eyebrows with the pencil to create the perfect shape. Use a brow brush or comb to blend in the front to create an ombre effect.
