G7 Summit/ World leaders come together in Switzerland

World leaders have gathered in Switzerland to discuss finding a new way to end the war in Ukraine. However, Russian and Chinese officials were absent from the summit, thus expressing their position against this peace summit.
The summit started on June 15 and will last 2 days. On June 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin said he is open to peace if Kiev gives up four territories and withdraws from the decision to join the NATO alliance.
Officials from more than 90 countries and various international organizations participated in the important meeting. India, Turkey and Hungary, which have friendly relations with Russia, also participated.
Ukraine responds to Putin's demands for peace

The Russian president said on Friday that he will immediately withdraw military troops from Ukrainian territory if Kiev gives up four territories annexed by Moscow and the decision to join NATO. After this statement, Ukraine rejected the conditions, while the head of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, described them as a way to show aggression.
Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia's offer cannot be trusted and that Putin would not stop the war, even if his demands for a ceasefire were fulfilled. Even earlier, Russian officials have presented the same conditions, which were again rejected by Ukraine.
Erdogan tells Biden to prove that his plan for Gaza is sustainable and not just an election campaign

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has called on the US President, Joe Biden, to show that his plan for establishing peace in Gaza is not just an election tactic, but is sustainable. "Biden will be subjected to a "test for sincerity", in his involvement in the war in Gaza", Erdogan said in a statement, after returning from the G7 summit, held in Italy.
According to Erdogan, an accurate determination must be made if the three-phase plan, which includes a ceasefire, the return of hostages and the reconstruction of Gaza, goes beyond Biden's desire to be re-elected US president. The plan in question has also been discussed by Hamas, whose leaders have requested some changes, which are still being analyzed.
Narcotic substances threaten the lives of young people

Europe is facing a wave of drug use and the combination of different drugs. Young people are increasingly inclined to use various substances and the threat to public health has increased significantly. This was revealed by the new report in the European Center for Monitoring Drugs and Addictions. According to this report, consumers are more exposed to a variety of choices of substances or different forms of their combination.
This has led to a wider use and consumption of several drugs at the same time. "We have some changes in terms of consumption and style trends that are characterized by multi-use; that is, people use several substances at the same time, fully exposing themselves to dangerous compounds. We are talking about illegal substances, the classic ones, the new ones, but also other substances such as medications or alcohol, which are very dangerous", said Joao Goulao from the European Center for Drug Monitoring.
