After Rihanna was seen on the streets of New York wearing a T-shirt with the inscription "I'm retired", people were upset as they took this as a message from the singer about her retirement from the music industry.
But after her latest statement, all the singer's admirers can breathe a sigh of relief, as not only has she not retired from music, but she is preparing some pleasant surprises for her fans.
The "Diamonds" singer told Entertainment Tonight that she has no plans to retire from music.
"People were fired up by the blues and thought I was going to quit music. The fact that I'm not releasing a new song or album. But no! I'm here," Rihanna said.
The artist explained that not only is she not retiring, but a new song is being prepared. "Music for me is a rediscovery and through it I've known and learned a lot of new things. I'm just getting ready to get back in the studio for some cool recordings," she added.
It seems that Rihanna not only has no intention of retiring from music, but very soon returns with some new music productions.
"I'm starting over, but I don't want to neglect the current songs I'm working on. I want to hear things from a new perspective and with a line of music that I'm in love with,” she emphasizes.

Although it's been more than eight years since she released her last album, Rihanna's life has been anything but boring. In addition to a new line of cosmetics and underwear, she has become a mother of two children with partner A$AP Rocky.
In the same interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rihanna also talked about plans to expand the family, but assured people that she is not pregnant.
"I would definitely like to have more children, but I'm not currently pregnant," she concluded.
