Selena Gomez isn't worried at all about people's comments about Benny Blanco. On the cover of Time magazine, the 31-year-old actress and singer spoke about the voices of commentators and said that she knew what people can do to the people she loves and that all the noise on the network does not bother her partner.
“I know what people can do to those I love. My fans, the ones I adore and have shaped me into who I am, can say the most hurtful things about the way I live my life. But he (Benny Blanco) has strength within him and nothing that is said bothers him", referring to numerous comments on the artist's appearance.
Sel continued:
"It's fantastic and I just enjoy every moment with it. I don't know what the future brings, but I know that he is now close, he has nowhere to go", adding that her 36-year-old boyfriend is a source of happiness.
The singer explained that she has been single for 5 years and that she was used to this lifestyle. "A lot of people are afraid to be themselves, and I probably tortured my mind for 2 years when I was single, but then, I accepted it," coming up with a plan: If she was single until the age of 35, she would adopt a child.
As for romance, she said it comes when you least expect it. Gomez and Blanco have known each other for years, until they tied the knot in June 2023. They collaborated on the hit "I Can't Get Enough" (2019), along with Tainy and J. Balvin.
Sel confirmed her relationship with Benny in December 2023 and expressed that it is all in her heart. Sources close to the couple have indicated that they are very happy together and that the relationship is going very well, while Benny has expressed that he always thinks about creating a family with his partner.
