The well-known comedian, Agron Llakaj, lost his wife a few days ago after an almost two-year battle with an incurable disease. Only today, he has chosen to thank all the people for the respect and messages sent to him and his family through a video message.
"Dear friends, unable to reply to all the messages sent to me and my family on the occasion of the loss of the life of the holy man, our Constantine and my Constantine, I am addressing you with this video message expressing my thanks and deep gratitude for every heartfelt word,” the comedian begins his video.
The actor says that the presence of people, known and unknown, in these difficult days for him, have somehow made the pain easier and more acceptable.
"It is known that joys and sorrows are shared with known and unknown people. The multitude of people accompanying Konstantina, but also in the days of waiting, all this great human love made us go through it somewhat easier. The mountain of pain that Konstandina left behind has no words that can express it because the weight is too great. It is because of this pain that we are accepting suffering.”
He follows:
"I read your messages to cherish her memories, but she is in every breath ours, mine, my children, nieces and nephews and all loved ones. But we don't choose life, that's how it is. In two years, she showed that she was the beam and pillar of the house, but also a strong person. In two years in this human tragedy of pain, in this battle with a merciless disease it was what gave me the opportunity to practice my profession."

Agron Llakaj has not separated his commitment to television and the comedy scene during these years, despite his wife's health problems, but this seems to have been quite a challenge for him as an artist.
"Making humor with a knife in the heart is difficult, Konstandina was the motive. After all this struggle, we conceded defeat. The disease became stronger. What Konstantina left behind, I hope my children will inherit, along with human respect and love."
He ends by saying:
"Touched and excited by all the people's participation, I want to express my great thanks and tell you: love each other, respect each other. The greatest wealth is health, in front of it, life and loved ones, everything else is very small. Respect and gratitude from me, my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren!"
Agroni and Kostandina have been married for about 40 years, they are parents of two children and have become grandparents of a granddaughter and two grandsons.
