Let's face it, this festival is one of the most fascinating film events in the world. So, it's standard for celebrities to parade down the red carpet in evening gowns and men in their most elegant suits. But, this 77th edition of the Film Festival brought an unusual trend, at least for an event of this nature.
Some of the popular girls chose jeans as a find to stand out in the crowd of clothes with bold patterns and colors, high heels and glittery accessories.
Sienna Miller opted for a pair of baggy jeans with pockets and a tweed blazer (with knit) and gold-toned buttons. Outcome? Very chic!
It seems that this choice is not random, although for an event of this nature. Similar choices have been made before. Did you catch actress Anne Hathaway in an all-denim dress on last year's CFDA Awards red carpet? The denim material is getting a lot of attention and it seems to be working even when chosen for evening wear.
There's also the comfort factor: who needs a silk or taffeta dress when you can stick your hands into the roomy pockets of denim pants and feel super comfy? With a few additional accessories and without completely sacrificing formality, you feel more protagonist than ever.
