According to a new study, 2 in 3 mothers and fathers are said to feel isolated and alone from the demands of parenting.

62% of them say they feel mentally blocked by their responsibilities as parents. And more than 1/3 of them say they have no help in their role as parents. And recently, 8 out of 10 parents state that they would greatly appreciate it if they could talk and get to know other parents outside of work or home.

The study was published in the New York Post and was conducted by Ohio State University.

Since the pandemic hit and most people dedicated themselves to working at home, there has been a significant increase in parents who feel burdened by their responsibilities.

Professor Kate Gawlik, one of the researchers of this research, has stated that most parents need to understand that they are not alone.

"There is a lot of pressure from society, but not only in terms of being a good parent. This makes every parent's job more difficult. On the other hand, many of them don't talk and close in themselves, isolating themselves", says Gawlik.

She advises that each parent talk to each other and if they can get involved in certain social groups to feel better.

Additional conversation with your partner and therapy is also advised if things don't seem to be going well.
