Sean "Diddy" Combs has reacted for the first time after the video published by CNN, where he appears to be severely assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.
"It is very difficult for me to reflect on one of the darkest periods of my life. But I have to do it. I was very heavy then. I mean I hit rock bottom, but I don't want to make excuses. My behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video", says the rapper.
He then goes on to state that he felt disgust.
"I'm disgusted, I felt that way then, I feel the same way now. I sought professional help. I started therapy, I also went to rehabilitation, because I had to ask God to forgive me, I needed mercy", concludes Diddy, emphasizing that he is trying to become a better person every day.
He didn't mention Ventura's name at any point in the video and didn't apologize to her, but wrote: "I'm really sorry."

We remind you that a few days ago the video, which dates back to 2016, was made public and the media and people have expressed their regret at the level of pain and the serious situation presented in the footage.
This is the first time Diddy has reacted to such matters, although the accusations brought against him by Cassey and others are still under investigation. Diddy is accused of violence, sexual and psychological abuse and trafficking.
