In the footage provided by the BBC, the UN car is shown, riddled with bullet holes. The Secretary General of the organization, António Guterres, expressed "deep sorrow" for the drive and sent condolences to the victim's family.
US calls on Iran to stop supporting Houthi rebels

The US has called on Iran to stop the "unprecedented" supply of weapons to the Houthi rebels in Yemen. These rebels, through weapons, carry out numerous attacks and have caused several deaths and riots.
According to the US deputy ambassador, Robert Wood, the United Nations Council will make progress and end the civil war in Yemen, but Iran must stop playing a role in destabilizing the region. He said that ample evidence proves that Iran supplies the rebels with advanced weapons, including ballistic and cruise missiles. This support is in violation of the sanctions imposed by the UN.

Israeli protesters block aid trucks that were supposed to leave for Gaza

Israeli protesters have blocked aid trucks that were destined to go to Gaza and have vandalized the aid, throwing it on the road or tearing open sacks of grain. The incident took place in the West Bank, a territory occupied by Israel.
The trucks were stationed at the Tarqumiya checkpoint and had left from Jordan to help the hated people of Gaza. The US condemned the attack, while protesters argued it was demonstrating against a ban on the return of Israeli hostages, who have been kidnapped by Hamas since October 7. In later videos, the trucks were seen engulfed in flames.
