This doesn't mean that it's not worth taking the plunge or that you should back off, but you just need to keep in mind some advice from relationship experts.
Sarah Chotkowski, licensed psychotherapist has given some reasons why older women consider dating younger guys and vice versa. Along with the reasons, she also gives some advice for those who find themselves in these reports.
According to Chotkowski, one of the primary reasons why relationships start with a significant age difference is sexual compatibility.
"Younger men tend to satisfy the sexual desires of middle-aged women. When women reach their 40s, statistics show that they have more desire and time for intimacy and their sexual desires reawaken. Younger boys have the energy and desire to pursue every desire and fantasy they have," says the psychotherapist, among other things.
Another reason why older women are attracted to these guys is the fact that those who belong to generation Z and millennials are much more open-minded and respect more the sexual desire, but also the femininity of every woman.
Since no relationship is and cannot be perfect, some advice should be taken into account in this case as well:
Younger guys may have different priorities than you, so you should consider creating an understanding relationship from the beginning.
Younger guys have less burdens from the past than an older woman.
A woman's experience is much greater than that of a younger boy, so care must be taken about the weight she will have in the relationship.
Younger guys are much more adventurous, so any woman entering this relationship should know herself and her limits well.
If such a relationship starts, it should be taken into account that there may be opposition from family or friends.
Make things clear from the start on what each of your expectations are for the relationship and to what extent you want to test it, as there may be conflict between each other's goals for the future.
