Sean "Diddy" Combs has asked that the sexual abuse charges brought against him by Jane Doe be dropped. According to TMZ, the rapper has filed a legal complaint to withdraw the charges on the grounds that the records submitted to the court do not include enough important data outside of the harassment charges.
According to the rapper's lawyers, Jane used the threat in the accusation to get attention on her case.
"The accuser does not remember the day, date or year when the event happened, but she suddenly remembers in detail every little situation that happened. This case should be terminated immediately, as it is based on prejudice and further damage to the rapper's image should be avoided", the lawyers say in the complaint filed.
Jane Doe filed the charges in December 2023, shortly after Combs' ex-girlfriend accused him of rape and abuse.
She stated that she had information about the rapper that linked him to human trafficking, and also talked about drugging and gang rape that happened in 2003 when she was 17 years old.
