The photo shows Katy standing at the bottom of the stairs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, but unfortunately, it's not true. The singer immediately went viral on X and people raved, as she "stuck" very well to the theme of "The Garden of Time", which was inspired by JG Ballard's 1962 short story.
After a few hours, Perry herself wrote on Instagram that she was not at the Met Gala. "I couldn't manage to be at the Met, I have to work", she said. But the singer's mother, Mary Perry, thought the same as the people who looked like a star, and Katy shot back: "Lol, mom, artificial intelligence lied to you. Careful!".
