Remember the model made famous last year by Kylie Jenner at the Met Gala? The Italian model took over social media as he was in every photo of Kylie Jenner and stood out for his grace.
His name is Eugenio Casnighi, and in a video that has already gone viral, the model revealed on TikTok that he has been fired from the Met Gala organizing agency, two days before the much-anticipated fashion event.
“I just got fired from the Met Gala. You remember me right? The good thing is that I got fired because I went viral last year and according to them I did it on purpose. I was just doing my job," said the 26-year-old.
Eugenio has revealed that his duty was and would be again to be placed as an assistant behind a public figure and would necessarily be photographed when the figure was under surveillance. Last year he was seen carrying Kylie Jenner's bag and belongings.
According to the model, this decision was unfair as it was removed without proper justification. The 2024 Met Gala will be held today (May 6, 2024), but according to the model it's likely none of his co-stars will appear on the red carpet, as they too were fired.
