The first love, the one filled with passion and adventure, is said to never be forgotten, especially if it was closed badly and left negative memories.
An American study conducted by observing brain activity has shown that the first strong sensations cause a neuron reaction in the brain that is unlike any other love, but especially unlike the romance and feelings of a healthy relationship.

The areas that are activated, according to this study, are the same as those that are activated when you are addicted to a narcotic substance, or another addiction.
Researchers at "Stony Brook University" in New York have discovered that the brain undergoes romantic chaos when an individual falls in love for the first time. This reaction is almost identical in every person regardless of culture.
The study examined individuals from Britain, the US and China over three years. At the end of it, they came to the conclusion that romantic love has the same intensity as passionate love, but the latter has an added component: Fixation.
"Our studies have observed the impulses of the brain and it is understood that passionate love is significantly more dangerous, it is not always a source of pleasure and hides a dark side", states the researcher Art Aron.
Among other things, the study reveals that the effect on the brain of the failure of first love leaves behind the same consequences as a real trauma.
