Matty Healy says he still hasn't heard ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift's new album, despite it being supposedly dedicated to him. According to people and ardent fans of Swift, the album "The Tortured Poets Department" is about a toxic relationship of 10 years and whose muse is the musician Healy.
The paparazzi caught up with the 1975 frontman in Los Angeles and asked him what he thought of the album.
"I haven't heard much, but I'm sure it's good," said the 35-year-old artist, not sparing a smile.
Although there is no reaction from Taylor about the songs dedicated to Matty, the singer's fans think that some songs of her album like "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived", "But Daddy I Love Him", "I Can Fix Him (No, I Really Can)” etc.
Matty and Taylor had a brief relationship about 10 years ago and then rekindled the sparks after her split from Joe Alëyn. Although people did not agree with their relationship, they still dedicated some moments to each other in their respective concerts. A few months later, they broke up.
Although Matty didn't say anything about the album, his aunt, Debbie Dedes, took a slightly tougher stance on the dedications. "Nothing surprises him anymore. He is not surprised by the songs. He and she know what they have been through. As for my nephew, we know a little more than what has been said to the press."
