Taylor Swift's much talked about new album The Tortured Poets Department was released on Friday at 2am and the singer surprised people with an even more surprise album called TTPD: The Anthology.
36 songs in total, which are quiet, relaxing (when you listen to them without attention), but very emotional and with meaningful lyrics, as Swift's songs usually are. The singer has spoken about heartbreak, tears, pain, anger and personal reflection.

"This period of the authorship of these songs is over, it is a closed chapter and a burden removed. There is no anger, no pain, nothing to square because the wounds are healed. And as the reflection continues, many of the events described are self-created. This author firmly believes that our tears become, as if by magic, ink on the pages of a book. When we tell the most painful story, we can finally be freed from it and all that is left behind is poetic torture", wrote Taylor on Instagram about this album.
The album also has two collaborations with Florence + the Machine and Post Malone. Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner are Swift's two main collaborators on production and songwriting, and they have a hand in a good portion of the songs.

Swift's most talked about project has currently broken every record by becoming the most pre-release album in Spotify history, while the demands to buy it are far higher than most platforms can handle.

Swift has stated that this album shows the flow of her life and is one of the projects that has the most heart because she wrote many of the lyrics herself. After all the records that Taylor has broken this year, it is expected that after this album new records will be set and her earnings will continue to be staggering.
