It's been almost a decade since Taylor Swift, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian engaged in an argument that shocked the world. Now, in the song "thank you aIMee" , part of the new album published by Taylor, "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anathology", the singer brings back the previous quarrel.
The song is about a bully who has made life difficult for Taylor. She mentions the person who walked over her "grave" and that the debate was not fair.
"The whole time you were throwing punches, I was building something/ I don't forgive you for the way you made me feel/ I screamed 'Fuck you, Aimee' into the night sky as my blood pounded/ But I didn't forget the way you made me heal," Tay sings.
People on social networks have heard the song and of course, expressed their thoughts: "I didn't expect that in 2024, Taylor dissed Kim"; "It makes me very happy that Tay still hasn't forgotten what happened"; "Well, it won't be good for Kim", were some of the comments.
The quarrel between them started in 2016, when West said in his song "Famous": "I can have sex with Taylor; I made that motherfucker famous." When Taylor rapped on her song "Cruel Summer," Kim posted a call on Snapchat, in which Kanye "got permission" from Taylor and let her know he would be singing the line in question. Later, it turned out that the call was edited.

Tay has dissed Kim in several songs, including "Call It What You Want" and "Look What You Made Me Do," while as for Kim, she addressed the rivalry on an episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians", where he stated that he simply wanted to protect his ex-husband.
