Dua Lipa is on the cover of Time, where she was also named one of the 100 most influential people in the world. In this interview, she talked about everything from manifesting her dreams to being proud of her roots.

Dua said, among other things, that since childhood, she has written the things she dreamed about herself. "Ever since I was a child, I've written down the things I've dreamed about for myself. I always planned ahead. Although there are surprises along the way, I appreciate them at this moment, I always have a long-term objective".

The pop star has a very successful career and stressed that it is important to write things down. "You never know what can be accomplished," said Dua.

Does Dua believe in the power of manifestation? Of course yes! In fact, manifestation is a very important thing for him. "I have a lot of faith in the things I put into this world. Unconsciously, you work for it. Nothing is too big," she said.

Dua Lipa was born in London in 1995, to Anesa and Dukagjini, who left as refugees in the 90s. When Dua was 11 years old, they returned to Kosovo and then Dua returned to London to pursue her music career.

Dua also spoke passionately about her roots and Albanian culture. "I am from two countries at the same time. Being Kosovar is a very important part and the fact that I received Albanian citizenship was very exciting", said Dua, referring to receiving Albanian citizenship in 2022.

She spoke extensively about Kosovo, emphasizing that it is among the youngest populations in Europe. "The opportunity to travel freely is very important. We were kids with big dreams and hopes and wanted to travel around the world and explore. They want to progress, grow and hope they can be heard in other ways. Now that their passport has value is something very good".

Dua added that when talking about Kosovo, there is no desire to refer to it as a country that has experienced war, but it is much more. "When my father and I do the festival in Pristina, we bring people from all over the world and they come and see that things are different from what they expect", she said, including artists and music admirers.
