Daphne Joy, who was named as a sex worker in the alleged trafficking ring led by Sean Diddy Combs, has accused her ex-partner 50 Cent of physically, sexually abusing and even raping her .
“Let's focus on your evil acts of rape and physical abuse against me. You are no longer my oppressor and God will guide me from now on,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “You have forever damaged my last hope I had of you as a father figure with your recent and false statements you made against me. You broke our heart for the last time," she added, also referring to her 12-year-old son, Sire, whom she co-parents with 50 Cent (whose real name is Curtis James Jackson).
Joy's reaction comes after 50 Cent's decision to take full custody of the boy. According to the rapper's legal representatives, he is taking this step following allegations that Joy was a sex worker for Diddy. The rapper's rep, speaking on his behalf, told People:
"The disturbing allegations in the depositions recently filed in a court case involving Daphne Joy, the mother of my 12-year-old child, have prompted me to take all necessary legal action to protect my son, Sire. Daphne Joy's recent false and baseless allegations are clearly a response to my decision to seek full custody of my son. My son, Sire, is my top priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time."
Daphne hit back on Instagram, saying: "Family Court, brilliant!" and then stated that "he lacks a father figure in his life and needs guidance from a man."
She also spoke about his relationship with his son, Sire: "We came to New York to give you the opportunity to be a father to your son and you have seen him 10 times in the last 2 years, when we have lived very close to you ".
In 2013, 50 Cent was charged with domestic violence against Joy and pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of vandalism. There was an incident between them, where he allegedly punched Joy in the stomach, but was charged for destroying her property during an argument. The rapper managed to make a deal with Los Angeles judges, not going to jail, but serving 3 years of probation and 30 days of community service.
