Jennifer Garner has revealed that for her the biggest difficulty as a mother has been allowing her children to make their own decisions.
"I have a really hard time not saying, 'This is the way I see you,' and 'I think I should…'" the actress explained to People during an interview published Thursday. Garner admitted that he has a hard time not giving opinions and orders.
On the other hand, the actress admitted that her parents did the same to educate and raise her, they gave her freedom. "I'm surprised they made it as hard as it is," Garner continues.
"I'm seeing the children experience new stages and I'm very curious about them," added the actress, who is raising children with ex-husband Ben Affleck.
Affleck and Garner separated in 2015 and since then shared custody of their 3 children, although the divorce was finalized 3 years later. They are one of the few couples who have proven that joint parenting under these conditions can be done.
