A woman on TikTok went viral after she discovered her husband was cheating on her through the fitness app Strava. Meg, with a TikTok account under the name @meg.c.mcgee, spoke openly to her virtual followers expressing all the suspicions about her partner's infidelities, suspicions that had actually started for some time.
Before the infidelity was discovered, Meg and her husband were the perfect couple who ran together, went to the gym together, did outdoor exercises and both used the Strava app to track the type of workouts and an absolute tracking of kilometers or steps during every workout.
Strava not only tracks distances, but also shares the run map so others can see the route someone else has followed during his/her training. The user can make the account private, so only friends or family can have access to see the workout type, minutes, kilometers, etc.
The woman, in her confession in the video, says that she began to have her first doubts when her husband began to avoid her in joint training, long-distance running and many other situations. When she asked to join his workouts, he listed 100 reasons not to, from running too far to the fact that she didn't want to keep up with him.
"After those conversations, I started to become an FBI detective," she said. The woman says that during the period of doubt, she was receiving external information from many sources, but nothing convinced her. Until the "red flags" in the relationship really arose!
It was his Strava account that "discovered" the husband, who actually started the run from their house and finished about a kilometer away...that is, at the other woman's house!
That was enough and the suspicions were confirmed!
