Besa Kokëdhima, invited to "E diela ?ona" showed some details about her representation in Eurovision with the song "Titan"/"Heart in hand".
"I know that I have a very big responsibility and we have tried to translate the load and pressure of this responsibility into work, to make a representation as dignified as possible so that people remain happy from this representation", said Besa in the introduction of program.
Further, she confessed that unlike other musical projects, this one of the song "Titan" excites her every time she sees it. "I think it's the best work I've done so far in music," admitted the singer.
"I want people to feel like citizens of Europe and the world, musically in this representation and to be aware of this product quality. If the result also comes, very good. If not, in any case, we did the best we could."
She said she is very excited about all the support she has received after winning the Song Festival and explained why her song will be competing in the English language.
"It is not related to the lack of love for the Albanian language, because it is the most expensive and most loved language in the world, even from the point of view of statistical and mathematical calculations, it would have been much simpler if it had been in Albanian, as it competes with your peers very little (referring to different languages ??in Eurovision)".
"Language is not separated from music, they are closely related. Therefore, the decision to make the song in English and reformulate it for the international audience was because it is not a song with an ethnic style, or a song with a stylistic origin of the music of easily Albanians. Second, because when we wrote the song in the beginning, we wrote it in English", adding that this is done so that the song reaches more people and Eurovision fans. She indicated that they will risk it and they will do their best for the song and it will give people in Europe a part of Albania, in a language they understand.
But will there be any Albanian words? Maybe. Besa left the possibility open. However, she revealed that the stage performance was submitted and everything was done on March 11. "The team that worked and will execute the performance on stage, is a team of director and stage designers with long experience, who have directed the Festival of Finland". Kokëdhima indicated that the team has also dealt with the performances of Sweden and the winning songs of several editions.
Besa said that she will not be alone on stage, but accompanied by some of the best dancers in the Nordic countries. "A performance has been conceived that is related to what happens on stage with what happens in the exhibited videos. It's not something you can imagine," she said.
The singer also answered the question of whether she sees a possible disqualification of Albania from Eurovision as a failure. "For me, it's a victory if people who watch the performance and listen to the song, say: "Albania had a beautiful song this year". For me this is victory and a good marketing for my country. The lobbying and marketing part for other countries are much bigger things and very high budgets, which these countries use and we can't do it, since we don't have the opportunity. We try in all ways to do our best. The team has also tried privately to cover costs to promote the country as best as possible".
This year's Eurovision will be held on May 11 in Malmö, Sweden.
