But the "sleep divorce" technique seems to be a salvation for many couples, famous or not, who have begun to cultivate their lives for a peaceful sleep and total relaxation. For 24% of American couples, such a separation greatly improved their married life, according to a OnePoll survey of over two thousand people.

Many people think that love and physical intimacy should go hand in hand, so it may seem counterintuitive to sleep away from your partner when everything is going well in the relationship. Introducing the idea of ??a divorce in sleep should be done gently and above all with sensitivity. Start by being clear and honest about your feelings, including wanting to solve any and all sleep problems.

Remember: sleep divorce does not mean that you have a troubled relationship

In most cases, there is no connection between sleeping in separate rooms and having a bad relationship. Therefore, sleep divorce is an option that only works if both partners are able to think outside of stereotypes.

Focus on the physical act of love at other times of the day

To compensate for the lack of physical closeness at night, find other times during the day when you can spend time together. This means not only sex, but also moments of emotional intimacy: a walk in nature, a good movie, etc.
