Dakota Johnson has spoken rarely about her role as a stepmother in the lives of her partner Chris Martin's children.
“I love those kids like my life depends on them. With all my heart," she said in an interview with Bustle.
"I grew up in a big family and I strongly believe in the expression: 'Blood does not become water.' But for me, a relationship created and chosen is stronger than those with the people you are born and raised with," Dakota explained.
For the actress, the chosen family is as important as the one you have at birth, sometimes even more.
So Dakota showed that he has a very good relationship with his partner's children. Chris Martin is the father of two children: daughter Apple, 19, and son Moses, 17, both from his first marriage to Gwyneth Paltrow.
