
The UN says Hamas is suspected of committing sexual violence in the October 7 attack on Israel

One of the UN teams submitted a report on Monday, saying there are "strong and compelling reasons" to believe that Hamas carried out sexual assaults in the October 7 attack at various locations in Israel. The report states that sexual violence also coincides with gang rape.
The UN visited Israel and collected, analyzed and verified data on sexual violence from January 29, 2023 to February 14, 2024.
