We all know the importance of hydration and healthy drinks to help with this challenge. But what if water isn't your preferred alternative? While it's easy to stay hydrated if you choose a drink you like, Jordan Mazur, a nutritionist, says there are a few other choices that replace water.
Herbal teas, especially decaffeinated ones, help you get the necessary fluids you need to stay hydrated every day.
Coconut water is another good option because of its electrolyte content, which is helpful for rehydration.
Milk provides hydration along with other essentials such as calcium.
Herbal teas, especially those without caffeine, are another idea to replenish the hydration level in the body.
"If you find that water isn't always your favorite, try filling a bottle with it by adding slices of fruit like cucumber, lemon or blackberry to improve its taste and add a dose of vitamins," suggests Mazur. Alcohol and sugary drinks, including sodas and fruit juices with added sugar, are not ideal alternatives to water.

Caffeinated beverages such as coffee and certain teas can have a diuretic effect, leading to fluid loss. Proper hydration is an essential part of daily life and this is accomplished not only with water and fluids, but also with food.
But don't forget! Adequate hydration is essential for the normal functioning of your body and organism.
