With all the good things that the experience as a protagonist in "Titanic" brought, Kate Winslet has admitted that there were also bad moments.
The 48-year-old appeared on the last cover of "PORTER" where she recalled the feeling of discomfort that came to her after the publication of the most popular romantic tragedy in the world.

"I felt like I had to look a certain way, like I had to be what others wanted, and especially because of the excessive media interference at that time, I felt like I had an unhappy life," she said.
"Journalists always told me that despite the fame I got from "Titanic" and the opportunity to do everything, I chose to do small things. I made that choice precisely because the fame was terrible", the actress further explained.

However, Kate admits that despite these embarrassments, she is happy that this film continues to excite people. "The only time I definitely need to hide is when I'm on a boat somewhere," the Academy Award winner joked.

The first time that Winslet agreed to talk about "Titanic" after so many years from the launch was in 2021 when she admitted that that period put her in a defensive situation and she felt very bullied by the British media.
