It seems like we have Margot everywhere these days! Or rather, since October 2022, when Barbie's pink was dominant on every screen, cinema, event or red carpet, it turned into an absolute trend that everyone was talking about (even still talking).
After the film that has been among the most discussed during the last year, the leading actress Margot Robbie said in an interview to Deadline that: "Maybe I should disappear from the screens for a while. If I did another movie too soon, people would say, 'That again? We spent a whole summer with him," said the actress.
"I don't know what I'm going to do next, but I think it's going to be a while," Robbie said. People often ask Margot if she's taking a break from acting, but she emphasizes the fact that she's a producer and there's no absolute break for her.
Being a director and producer is likely to be one of the actress' next steps. Some time ago, in an interview with Variety, she said that directing is a great ambition for her. So far, she hasn't put a time frame on when that might happen, but she thinks she's been able to get the best lessons so far from courses and projects from famous filmmakers.
We don't know if people are upset after this decision of the actress, but surely there will be no fixed date of return to cinema and roles for Margot Robbie.
