A woman has sparked quite a debate on the Reddit platform after revealing that she left her husband after his prank on their wedding day. The woman said she filed for divorce two days after the wedding after her partner pushed her into the wedding cake as a "joke".
The bride explained that a few months before the wedding ceremony, she had caught her partner watching prank videos where the bride's face was smashed into the wedding cake. The young woman had asked him not to try something similar because she would leave him.
"Everything went smoothly until the cutting of the cake. Everyone present was looking at us at the moment of cutting the cake, the photographer was in front of us, everything was fine," said the bride.
"Suddenly I felt a hand on the back of my head, pushing me cake first. Not only my makeup, but my whole wedding dress was ruined and the whole hall laughed at me, even my husband the most," she continued.
Humiliated, she said she then slapped the man in front of everyone and left the wedding with tears in her eyes. "I decided to separate from him and file for divorce. I informed my husband and family about this," she wrote.
"He just asked me not to do it because it was just a harmless joke. Everyone tells me that the motive is ridiculous, but I see this situation differently. If he does something like this against my request and wish, how can to continue to trust him for the most important decisions in life," argues the young woman.
People, too, are divided in their comments and attitudes after getting to know the story. Some support it, and many others are against the divorce after the joke, maybe a little excessive, but not to the point of separating the couple.
