New York dermatologist Shereene Idriss shared some little secrets with all her virtual followers who want to make better decisions when it comes to facial skin treatment.
#1 Don't use the same face towel two nights in a row
"For starters, I never use the same face towel two nights in a row," Idriss said. “I know it sounds extreme, but you don't wash your face and then wipe it off with a dirty towel. Basically, that's what you do if you use the same towel two nights in a row." She recommends buying seven small towels and washing them once a week to make sure you don't reuse dirty towels.

#2 Don't use a blackhead remover
Dermatology says that using a device to remove blackheads is not a guarantee for cleaning the face, but one more argument that you will turn to the specialist for the destruction of the structure of your face. Use more products with salicylic acid if you have oily skin and lots of blackheads because it helps to hydrate it.
#3 Ditch expired sunscreen
There is no reason to use a cream that has been on the shelf for over a year. If you don't want skin problems, go buy a new one advises dermatology.
#4 Don't overdo the botox
Although Botox is becoming more and more popular, Shereene says young people can skip these treatments. "In the long run, if you do too much Botox, when you're 50 you'll just have skin that doesn't move a muscle," she said.
#5 Not many hyaluronic acid serums
"I would never use a serum with too much hyaluronic acid," says Idriss. According to her, overuse of the serum, which helps the skin retain moisture, can lead to redness and inflammation.
