Other details have been published about the tragic case of Bedrie Loka, a mother of four who allegedly ended her life by drinking photoxine.
Despite the fact that at first it was reported that the reason for the suicide was the denigration of her image through an open account on TikTok, the brother and son of the deceased reveal that she was a victim of domestic violence.
According to Bedrie's eldest son, a few days before the tragedy, when his father, Xhemal Loka, returned home, "he threw his mother in the car and sent her towards Durrës at high speed, saying 'I will kill you'."
"The father used to abuse and blackmail the mother constantly," the daughter of the deceased is said to have expressed to the investigative team.
Avdi Bushi, Bedria's older brother, declares that his sister was not killed by TikTok, but by her husband, "with whom she did not enjoy a single white day during 23 years of marriage". According to him, the sister was raped and had marks on her body.
It turns out that 45-year-old Xhemal Loka was convicted for drugs in France, then he was expelled from this country and illegally immigrated to Greece. He is currently behind bars, as he is accused of driving his wife to commit suicide, while an arsenal of weapons was also found in his apartment.
