Alketa Vejsiu, who presented the 59th edition of the "Song Festival" at RTSH, through a post on Instastory, has criticized the current director of RTSH, stating that she will never forgive him.
She gave her followers the opportunity to ask her questions on Instagram, and one of the questions was: "Would you do RTSH's "Festival" again?" After your festival, there was no more beautiful festival".
Alketa answered: "Yes, thank you very much. I would very much like to make that festival flourish like in 2022. But, I choose the people I work with and criterion no. 1 is "to be human".
He continued: "I will never forgive the current director for what he did to my father's wife in the most difficult days. Edlira took leave without pay and while she was serving a patient who was fighting for his life in the hospital, even after reporting, she was fired in the ugliest way possible. 32 years of work in that television. He has sued them and claims a lot of wages and will win the trial, like many others who had the same fate and followed the same legal path. The cost is borne by the Albanian state for the violations of the director of DBNJ, Anila Agalliu, who does not even bother to answer, forgets that she is there temporarily and it is not her private business to do whatever she wants".
Alketa added:
"I avoid controversy, but I have to take a public stance today. I've been reading a lot about Fred lately. All those who attack (attack) don't have my window, so I'm talking about them too. Never step on the people who paved the way for you today, Fred, in a director's suit that you don't know how to wear and it doesn't fit you at all, because you don't know how to be human and that's the first criterion of people who bring progress. Few people can hold that position. You are simply not worthy! Long live the handkerchief jacket!".
"I will make public the case of this good woman who was fired from her job, even though she received leave or the right to pay, due to an emergency (disaster) not provided for by law, and understand me, this is not a trivial revolt over salary issues, that he will have as long as he has life, but it is a matter of dignity and justice for that nepotism that sits cross-legged in many institutions, taking away the opportunities for the merit and contributions of many people. To retire with dignity, since he worked correctly for 32 years, is an important trophy, which you stole from him", wrote Alketa.
"Karma is blood, don't forget it, Alfred Peza! We all get what we deserve! There is God!", she concluded the reaction.
Alfred Peza's name has been thrown around a lot lately. Bledi Strakosha reacted to him, after he was fired from his job at RTSH. Through a post on Instagram, Bledi announced to his followers and said: "The last eight years at RTSH have ended for me. Nothing new and nothing shocking for someone who has been working in the media for 32 years. With the movements of the market, with the changing tastes of the audience and maybe even with the whims of the leaders or with whom one finds himself next to in the office or elsewhere at certain moments of the day and night, we are used to it and we are not caught unprepared. The only emotion (understandable this time) comes from my connection and spiritual closeness to this institution where I entered as a child, where I learned the ABC of the profession, where I was formed by television and media management professionals".
He said that during his work he has seen many directors come and go at RTSH: "Since the beginning of the 90s when I started working at RTSH, I have seen many well-known names of television pass, as I have seen leaders and leaders appointees come and go: each with their own degree of dedication, honesty, ability, intelligence, civilization. For wills, which this is not the occasion to analyze, RTSH has been in the known state for many years, but what I can say is that in this institution there has been a kind of unspoken pact where professionals have been treated at least as does the citizen treat the rented house or the peasant the neighbor's persimmon when it falls in his yard. As for what is currently happening in RTSH, I have no comment. The only phrase I can express is that I dream of the day that RTSH will have an average fortune. At least!".

Meanwhile, the Union of Albanian Journalists condemned the decisions of the director of RTSH and in a statement, said: "The Union of Albanian Journalists considers such extreme decisions arbitrary and constitute a climate of tension, pressure and punishments for journalists, even more so in the conditions when in this institution there are no union representations and dialogue structures between administrators and professional entities or employees who leave".
Even Arben Derhemi made a public denunciation, where he said that Alfred Peza did not allow funds to be received for the realization of the series "People and Fate". The actor called on people to contribute to an open GoFundMe to finance the series and pointed out that the director of RTSH, Alfred Peza refused to sign the funds approved for the restoration of the series.
"Good evening and we thank all the well-wishers of "People and Fate" for the messages coming our way. But with good news comes bad news.
At this moment, the current director of Albanian Radio Television, with the logic of the director-owner, does not sign the approved funds," said Drehemi.
