-Lipstick: One to three years
You should check whether the product contains water or not. If it does not contain water, then it is good to use for up to three years, especially if you spread it with a lip brush to avoid risks. If the formula contains water, it is good for up to a year.
-Lip gloss: One year
As far as lip products go, gloss has the shortest shelf life. Because the product brush touches your lips directly, one year is a normal period of use.
- Cheek blush: Three years
If you're using a liquid, powder or cream blush, unless you touch the skin directly, you can use it for up to three years.
-Bronzer: Three years
As with other makeup products, it all depends on the formula. Bronzer, like blush, can be used for up to three years.
-Foundation: Two years
Cream, powder or liquid foundation has a shelf life of up to two years. For liquid formulas, beauty experts say that if you see the product starting to harden and crumble, that's the time to throw it away.
-Eyeshadow: One to three years
Eyeshadows that contain water should only be used for one year after using it near the eye area. If it's waterless, which includes most powder formulas, it can last anywhere from two to three years.
- Peneli: Three to six months
Because the brush is applied so close to the eye area, experts say you should replace it every six months. When used near the eyes, the risk of infection is quite high.
- Mascara: Three to six months
As with the brush, the eyebrow dye has a high risk of infection due to use close to the eyes.
- Corrector: Six months to two years
Liquid concealers generally last anywhere from six months to a year, cream formulas from 12 to 18 months, and powders for two years.
-Manicure: Three years+
Since you don't have to worry about nail polish irritation, you can extend the use until you see hardening or cracking in the product or if the color looks strange on your nails.
-Perfume: Three to five years
Fragrances can last a long time, especially when stored properly. But once the fragrance starts to change color or have a strange smell, then it's time to throw it away.
