A member of the royal family of England is unable to experiment with strong changes in make-up, hair, clothing, because of the rules and protocol that dictates everything.

That being said, Middleton has masterfully transitioned from the warm summer months to the cold winter with a dark hair transformation.
For a long time now, Kate's highlights have been a medium-toned shade of brunette with highlights throughout. However, the Princess of Wales has done a total refresh of the look, changing her hair to an almost dark chocolate brown shade.
