Angelina Jolie, in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, said that she would not become an actress if she were involved in the film industry in 2023. She has always considered the idea of ??acting on stage, but not such a long career in Hollywood .

Being under intense public scrutiny for more than two decades has apparently caused Jolie quite a bit of discomfort, especially since she found herself a target of the tabloids following her divorce from Brad Pitt seven years ago. The stress became so uncontrollable that she noticed in 2018, while filming Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, that her voice had changed since she first performed the role.
"My body reacts very strongly to stress," Jolie said. "Blood sugar fluctuates up and down. I suddenly had Bell's palsy (facial palsy) six months before the divorce,” added Jolie.
The actress said she "doesn't really have a social life" even though she lives in Los Angeles, due to the unwanted attention she receives whenever she steps out of her residence. Angelina added in the interview that she is planning to leave Los Angeles for good and spend more time at her home in Cambodia.
"It's part of what happened after the divorce. I lost the ability to live and travel as freely as possible. I will move when I can," said Jolie. "I grew up in a pretty small country compared to all the countries in the world, but I think Hollywood is not a healthy place."
