Samanta Karavella withdrew from the "Song Festival" because the organizers did not allow her to perform without choreography. In an interview for "Let me talk", the singer revealed for the first time the real reason why she withdrew from the competition.
“The truth is that the song I had chosen [was] a very rhythmic song [and] I was not allowed to perform. I couldn't sing a rhythmic song without performance. These were the rules this year," she said.
A few days ago, her manager said that the festival "was taking too much time", but the truth was different.
Right after Samantha, Casey Tola also withdrew from the race. The decision of the singers brought a theory that circulated on the network and was related to the opinion that Elsa Lila has been announced in advance as the winner.
"As for Elsa Lila, it's speculation, I don't know anything," said Samanta in "Let me talk".
Besides them, Sardi Strugaj also withdrew from the "Song Festival" competition.
The Song Festival will be held from 19-22 December 2023. Voting will be the same as last year: The public will decide via televoting who will represent Albania at Eurovision 2024 and the jury will select the winner of the festival and the prizes others.
