Timo Flloko firmly believes in the power of chance, otherwise he thinks he would never have met Vera Grabocka. In an interview in "Opinion", he confessed some details of their acquaintance and love story.
"I knew her at school, that's why I say coincidence... this must be understood that if I had not been appointed in Tirana, that I could have been appointed in Vlora, I would not have known this young girl [once] or the lady today. I met her in the school benches, she was my student," said Flloko about the time when he was appointed a lecturer at the Academy of Arts, where Grabocka was studying directing.
In the following, the actor added that he "stuck" in love with Vera, in the sense that it was impossible for him to give her up.
“[Vera] was special, in dynamics, in behavior, in energy, in nature, in conversation. It was love where I stuck, because I don't believe I wasn't an unsympathetic boy at that time. The attraction was mutual. Sometimes I found Vera more dismissive than I was. I fell [out of love for him] and how good because in life, one needs a support.”
For Timo, Vera has been like a strong oak where he has found support. "Wine has been a support, as a body is supported on an oak tree when it is tired. That's how I always relied on Vera," he said.
For Timo, Vera has always been the first critic, because "she has a sixth sense". "She is never wrong," added the actor, emphasizing that "her word always comes out."
Timo Flloko and Vera Grabocka are parents of a daughter, Linda.
