The first group of hostages was released in Gaza on Friday. 24 hostages were released by Hamas – 13 Israelis, 10 Thais and a Filipino national – as part of a deal that has brought a temporary pause in the fighting and includes the release of Palestinians imprisoned by Israel.
But although the deal has raised hopes for a more lasting ceasefire, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed there would be no end to Israel's campaign to destroy Hamas.

Exposure to some widely used insecticides may decrease sperm concentration and may have profound effects on male fertility, a new study finds.
George Mason University research analyzed five decades of studies to determine whether exposure to pesticides is associated with decreased sperm concentration.
"Based on this meta-analysis, we believe that exposure to insecticides is affecting overall sperm concentration," Melissa Perry, dean of the George Mason College of Public Health, told the Guardian.
