We say this every year, but 2023 had a number of cool beauty trends. Whether you've been experimenting with skin tone, enjoying extravagant nails or trying light makeup, there are plenty of trends that have set the beauty standards for the year ahead.
Some of them worked. Others not so much. As we're weeks away from the annual calendar flip, 13 hairstylists, skin care experts and nail artists share the beauty trends we'll be leaving behind in 2023 and those predicted to make a name for themselves in 2024 .
-Nails
1-No more aura nails! Choose minimalist designs in 2024
2-Forget the matte version, 3D and glossy models will make a name for themselves
3- The white or light pink shade gives way to the highlighted brown or gold color
4- Motifs with squares are "old fashion"! In 2024, get ready for nails with sharp edges and strong colors
5- Square nails will not be more preferred than the oval ones that you will see everywhere next year
-Hair
1- You will see less bun hairstyles in 2024. Instead, IN is thick and wavy hair
2-Natural hair will triumphantly return next year, while the strands will not be in the attention of hairdressers
3- Bob hair with volume and waves, the favorites of 2024
4- Give up the "game" with colors on curly hair and choose a monochrome model
5- Say "no" to long braids because next year the short braid model will be dominant
-Makeup
1- No longer long eyelashes, but natural
2- Festive make-up replaces clean and light make-up
3- Less barbie effect in make up and more red in the eyes during 2024
