Brad Pitt has not responded to recent reports that son Pax Jolie-Pitt reportedly called him a "world-class tr*p" in an early Instagram post.
Despite some tabloids writing that Pitt thinks the situation is "depressing" and "disappointing," a source close to the actor told Page Six that none of that is true.
"It's just unfortunate that people will continue to try to involve children in situations like this," the source said.
"It's been seven long years and it's unfortunate when people needlessly bring up issues from the past and don't consider the impact it has on the whole family."
The source added that Pitt has not mentioned his children in the media regarding his 2016 divorce from Angelina Jolie or their ongoing custody battle — and he will continue to remain silent.
Jolie and Brad separated in 2016. The split came after Pitt put his hands around one of the children's throat and punched another in the face during an argument on a private yacht, Jolie's lawyers said in 2022.
