The creative director of Moschino has passed away at the age of 46

Fashion designer Davide Renne has died at the age of 46. The sad news was announced by the official account of Moschino on Instagram.

The well-known brand, in a post on Instagram, said: "With deep sorrow and great sadness, Moschino announces that Davide Renne passed away on November 10, 2023 in Milan. Davide took on the role of Moschino's creative director just a few days ago, on November 1."
 
Further, the post read:
 
"There are no words that can describe the pain we are experiencing in this dramatic time. Davide joined us only a few days ago when a sudden illness took him from us too soon. We still can't believe what happened. Davide and I were working on an ambitious project, in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and optimism for the future. Although he was with us for a very short time, Davide was able to make us love and respect him," adding that Moschino will further Davide's imagination, creativity and vision.

Renne was born in Italy and began his career as a fashion designer working with designer and mentor Alessandro Dell'Acqua. Previously, he was in charge of the menswear department at the well-known Gucci brand. He assumed the role of creative director at Moschino 9 days before his death, on November 1.
 
According to CNN, Renne would present his first collection with Moschino at Milan Fashion Week in February next year.
