There is little doubt about the fact that the wedding ceremony of Kate Middleton and Prince William in April 2011 remains one of the most beautiful in the history of royal families in the world.
With details from tradition, with a host of important guests, Kate as a bride in a white lace veil and long train received all the media attention, except for one detail that the British media say Kate did not compromise by breaking such a 350-year tradition of the royal family.
Royal expert Ashley Pearson said Kate was advised to tie her hair up on the day of the ceremony, a rule followed by almost all other brides in the royal family, but Kate refused.
She was adamant about having wavy, shoulder-length hair, a pattern that we see in almost every public appearance of hers.
"The royals were very adamant at this point that she would wear her hair in an elegant style just for such a special day, but Kate loved the long, loose hairstyle and didn't give up, Pearson said.
