The cause of death of actor Matthew Perry at his residence on Saturday will require additional investigation by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office before a conclusion can be reached.
An autopsy has been performed, but examiners are awaiting the results of toxicology reports to determine Perry's cause of death. They are planning to use toxicology reports to determine if any foreign substances may have contributed to the actor's death.
Perry, 54, was found dead in the bathtub. On Sunday, his family released a statement saying they were "heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother".
